Small-Scale Power Intermediary Pilot Program Participation Eligibility
01Small-Scale Electricity Intermediaries
(hereinafter referred to as Intermediaries)
A business whose main purpose is to trade in the power-REC market for resources collected through signing of an intermediary contract with a small scale power resource holder.
Registration criteria (Appendix 1 of 5 of the Article 4(2) of the Enforcement Decree of the Electricity Business Act)
- Manpower: 2 or more engineers in accordance with the National Technical Qualification Act (including at least 1 engineer in the electrical fiel
- Scope: Electricity, information and communication, electronics, machinery, architecture, civil engineering, or environmental fields)
02Small-scale Power Resource Holders
(hereinafter referred to as resource holders)
Individuals with new and renewable energy facilities, electricity storage devices, and electric vehicles under the specified scale
Scale and type (Article 1(3) of the Enforcement Decree of the Electricity Business Act)
- New and renewable energy generation facilities with an installed capacity of 1 MW or less under the New and Renewable Energy Act (Article 2 (1) and (2))
- Electricity storage system (ESS) with charging and discharging capacity of 1 MW or less
- Electric vehicles pursuant to the Eco-friendly Vehicle Act (Article 2(3))
A market established and operated by a power exchange for small-scale power intermediaries to recruit and manage small power resources.

- Entire plant integrated power generation and facility management functions for solar maintenance companies
- Power plant maintenance: safety diagnosis, equipment maintenance, fault diagnosis, equipment and facility historical management
03Power Generation Forecast Service
- Provides short-term power generation forecasting service considering assumptions, transportation, solar altitude, power plant topography (location), and power generation equipment specifications.
04Profitability Analysis Services
- Accurate profitability analysis based on actual operating costs of power plant operation
